About

Who am I?

I am a former journalist working as an author and communications professional.

How do these two professions fit together? I am a writer first and foremost. I have worked in communications my entire career. I landed my first newspaper column at the age of 13. I always wanted to write a book, and, a few years ago, I decided it was time to make it happen.

A trip to the eerie South Carolina Lowcountry inspired The Haunting on Palm Court, the first book in my Isle of Palms Suspense series. The next two books in the series, Return to Palm Court and Christmas on Palm Court, launched soon afterward, with the omnibus edition launching on Sept. 2, 2022.

I love all things creative, especially writing, photography and graphic design. I feel fortunate that I have been able to pursue a career in the field where my passion lies.

I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications from the University of Tennessee, and I am continuously looking for opportunities to be creative.
